electrical dash lights faded in and out light come on by themself jeep sometimes wont start i'm having problems.  help

sounds like a short in the steering column.  i hate wiring.  had an issue with the taillights not working turned out to be a factory "splice" failed.

dash lights flickering is a common issue... the switch needs to be re-soldered
