Trophy Ideas
« on: January 16, 2013, 08:19:55 am »
This year we're wanting to provide a different style of trophy for our "Show-N-Shine" winners.

Feel free to offer up your opinion. Toss out some ideas for us to consider.

maybe something plaque style with the pajeeps logo/ emblem on it. the normal trophies are very nice to look at but hard to display unless you have a designated area. but a plaque flat style with a protruding bottom would be easy to display on the garage wall OR to sit on a desk or shelf.
build it, beat it, break it, fix it, repeat

I'm all over this. I stopped by Tri-state Trophy and I've got some stuff working that could be awesome...  Maybe...

Our preference is to continue issuing trophies over plaques.... PA Jeeps always issues one of the nicest trophies out of all the shows we attend. We've attended shows that issue plaques and they just arent as nice in my opinion.

I've seen some of the acrylic trophies out there and if one can be cut to resemble a Jeep then that would be a neat idea. The pic is a rough concept but you get the idea....

Acrylic is where I want to go if the price is right and a quality design.

what about a mudtire shaped trophy with the class on the inside where the rim is.

or maybe this is too cheasy, a tire cover ( a good one) with the award on it that way everyone can see it not just sitting on a shelf.

petersons gives a ring and pinion style trophy to 4x4 of the year.

or a larger version of the jeep show dash plaque with the class imprinted on it. that way each year is a different trophy.

but if the plaque is made jeep show specific, you cant have extras.

Has an new trophy been selected or are we keeping the same style trophy as we had from the previous years. I kind of like the trophys the way they currently are.

Thanks Rick. I can't wait to see them. I just hope that they're cool looking.
