Superchips Flaspaq
« on: February 17, 2010, 01:47:57 am »
Has anybody used the new SuperChips Flashpaq for the Wrangler? I just got my new Quadratec catalog and saw that this one purports to not only tune the engine, but also says that "the sophisticated transmission tuning makes your Jeep drive like a dream".

I would LOVE to have my 42RLE 'drive like a dream'!

Any input is appreciated!

Check out the Superchips web site and I think you will find that it will adjust the trans on JKs but not on TJs .

Well that blows. So what's the deal with the 42RLE that nobody and nothing can fix it's stupid shift points?

Thanks for the input.

I am running the Flaspaq in my 06 Wrangler and it does make a difference. I did find that I have to use 89 fuel even on the 87 setting or I get a knocking at low RPMs. It also corrected the speedometer and can be used to check eng. codes.
