Super glued my heater knob back together. It decided to crack last night when I got in the Jeep to drive home from York. I cracked just enough so that it wouldn't turn that metal post that turns the heat on. BRRRRR!!  That was a cold ride home!! I'm hoping the glue will hold the knob together, but I'll be keeping the plyers handy just in case.

Changed oil and filter, changed sparks plugs, greased all zerks, changed air filter, checked and/or topped off all fluids, respooled the cable and packed all recovery gear back in the bag.

Going for a beer now. ;)

Contractors were in plowing and hauling snow from the parking lot behind the office next to mine. F-250 4x4 with plow got stuck. Real good... sideways! Kinda funny when you see all of those stickers stating how "Fords eat Chevys & sh!t Dodges" and then the guy who drives the big Ford has to ask the guy who drives the little Jeep to pull him out!  ;D Too bad there wasn't a camera handy!  ::)

:D"Jeeps go in the snow, with Fords in tow !" :D

I started ripping apart the Grand Cherokee's engine bay getting it ready to yank the engine. Found little bits of the pistons rings just about everywhere.

The guy came by yesterday to deliver our new Entertainment Center, but he couldn't get up our driveway with his 1 ton truck (slipping in the snow). So I backed down and threw a strap on him. The BEST part was... as I was hooking him up his helper jumped out and mumbled something like "that's not gonna pull this"  ???   I love that kinda talk!  At the top of the drive, as I was unhookin', I asked... "didn't get whiplash did ya?"   ;D

FREE TV, but a Million $ EC... :-\   (still hooking everything up, putting stuff in it, etc.)

Well... I do have to admit there was a part of that story that wasn't exactly true ('cause I figured you YJ people might be depressed or somethin') but his truck was a lot BIGGER than a One Ton!  Mike lives down near this guy, I might have to have him verify it   :)

I'm surprised that he didn't slow down, take one look at your driveway, say ''UH-UH!", and keep going!  ;)

cause I "had" (i.e., past tense) a pocket full of cash...

Here's an interesting site (set-up a little differently than JunkYardDog.com), but I don't think anybody wants to go digging for parts through 2' of snow  :(

Mike,
Never helped with a Japanese trio. :'(

However, the first problem may be solved if you ask nicely, you just may get the H3! :o

Angie,
Not sure what to say, do you find the Kama Sutra interesting reading?

I'm desperately trying to be real...um...gentlemanly like here. 8)
