Goin to get some leather seats for it tomorrow.

   :o I hope they're heated...

(if you've never had "unheated" leather seats in the winter, then you're in for awakening.

That's why I keep a beach towel to sit on.  Getting a cold butt is one thing, but I'd get burned in the summer w/o the towel!  :o

Haha. They're from an 89 XJ Limited, so no, they aren't heated.  Got em installed, and I'll snap some pics tomorrow.  The wiring was a bit of a pain, but other than that, easy install.

I had a Ford Escape with leather, so I'm aware of the cold bottom issue.  However those were tan, so I didn't have the over heat issue.  These are black, so it may be interesting in Summer.  Good thing the AC works in the Jeep.

I BROKE IT >:(

All the smoke (and fluid) came out of the tranny.  Now it sits until I finish the Rubicon TC rebuild and I'll yank the tranny at the same time as I was going to swap TC's.

The nice thing is that being prepared for the trails, I had all the necessary stuff to be towed home ;D

I guess now I'm in the same boat as Rick - we have a jeep, but it doesn't go anywhere :'(

Chip,
If I am not mistaken, your Jeep also has round headlights.

Yes, it does.  And they work fine :D

I guess with 126,000+ on the tranny (I only know how it was driven from 110,000 miles on), it was time for something to go.  I've had many automatics with gentle highway miles only that gave up long before that.  Oh well, just have to re-arrange a few things on the TC swap and add in a tranny repair/replace in there somewhere.  But you probably won't see me on the trails this winter. :(  Hey, I got my monthly tow strap usage in though ;D

Glass beaded than painted some bits and pieces for the Willys. I know it's not much but it just that much less that needs to be done.
