Installed my overhead radio console.  See my thread under Work In Progress for all the gritty details.

Played on some rocks, and found a good bit of mud all in the quest to test the front drive shaft and belly pan. Every thing seems to be good to go. :)

Jack,
Colli's rig is definitely ready for the trails now...... and so is she!

I spoke with her on Sat. and she wants to re-run the troublesome trails from her first ride, she's gonna kick those trails right in the pants. 8)

BTW-My rig looks stock next to hers. I'm gonna have to fix that too. ;D

Bought a Cobra Road Trip handheld CB on eBay, since some of you seemed to like that model!  It comes with a magnetic antenna, so I can remove it when I'm not using it.

I installed my Bushwacker fender flares that I won in the raffle at the show. It's amazing how the stock flares with 32s filled up the gap pretty good but the bushwackers with 33s just make the 33s look way to small.

I'm looking at possibly October's trail ride. Even if I do get it driveable again before the September run I wanna work a few bugs out. Between the regear, Dana 44 w/disc swap, over the knuckle steering, replacing power steering pump, fender flares, and a bunch of other little projects that something is going to have some issues. Maybe next week I will finish putting my steering onto it and make it driveable again. But after about a year and a half it might be done soon.

I bent a control arm and dinged up my wheels on a black trail today.  Went on Trail 23, not too bad.  Overhead console worked well.  Still drives OK even with bent control arm, so if there's no other latent damage, I should be able to make the 12th.

Oh, and I got BOTH black AND tan mud on the jeep ;D
