Mr. Jack, both of my boy's are running KM 2's on the XJ's. They love them. Awesome ride on the street, I put them on the TJ for a week and I love them. Next set I buy will be KM 2's, probably in a size 35.

I have to agree with Charlie and Dave on the KM2's.  Smother ride and no road noise.  They seem to give an advantage on wet roads as well when compared to the KM1's.

Put in a new to me front axle shaft, rotated the tires and put additive for the limited slip in the rear of the YJ. Then helped Dave take the fenders and grill off the Willys.

I actually made a third attempt to drill out the set screw that holds the stearing shaft to the output shaft of the column.
No luck...that damn screw is hard. I'm at a loss of ideas now.
I need a lower bushing on the stearing column but can't remove the darn shaft....Arggggg  >:( >:( >:(

I did attempt low heat. I'm not sure the column output shaft splines can withstand using high heat...?
I don't want to warp the splines.
I'm at a point where I'm thinking of just doing it...Heat that screw til it disintegrates and chance it.
I've got to take that chance...I've been called "out" in another thread.

Argggggg......No gas for the torch. I just can't catch a break. Guess I'll have to trailer it elsewhere for heat.

Picked my Jeep up from Hoak's today after a few alterations:

A complete Ford 8.8 rear end to replacemy Dana 35, and new 4.88 gears. Plus lots of other odds and ends... control arms, track bar, new speedometer gears, brakes and brake lines, skid plates, etc.....

Anybody need a spare Dana 35 complete rear end - 3.08 gears? Free to good home for parts or target practice.  ;)
