Spent Saturday with my friends at WASP Welding, doing some repair and minor mods to the CJ3A frame horns, new front bumper, and tow bar. Pics are below in the Work In Progress section. Spent part of the day Sunday painting the tow bar and some top bows.

Took the new front bumper and some other small parts to the Powder Coating shop today!

Got to be ready for the PA Jeeps Show! ;)

Let me see… I fueled her up and drove her back and forth to work all week :P  On the way home today I “sensed” some carbon trying to build up in the combustion chamber  >:(  so as I was merging onto I-83 I “extricated” said carbon build up from 42 to 76mph Ahhhh… now that feels better, er… I mean, now it’s running better  ::)

Yes Jack, every now and then it's good to really put your foot through the floor board...I mean blow a little carbon out. ::)

It helps your engine and sometimes your attitude. ;D

Picked up my CJ3A front bumper and some small parts from the powder coating shop! ;D

Also got a set of black, canvas top stowage straps for the CJ3A from Beachwood Canvas Works. Rolled up the summer top and strapped it to the fender box, just like the old days...

Drove it around the block for a few mins. Then started to cut the stock air filter to make my own "cold air" intake setup for it. I don't feel like buying one. :p

It was dry enough this evening to paint the front frame horns on the 3A. The newly powder coated bumper will go on tomorrow! After that, it will be time to install the new rear springs... I think she will be ready for the PA Jeeps Show then! ;)
( I really think it would be a good experience for Jenn to wrench on those springs... it will get her ready for her 2A spring replacement!)

Chasm, nice! Glad to see you getting ready for the show.

I finally got my 33's back from Matthew today! ;D

The next step is lifting her a little higher. :D

So, did he wheel it with the 33s or just drive around town?  Did they rub?

Angie, I'm not sure if I want to call you cool cake or wobble cake!  ;D

He just drove around town and didn't say much about any rubbing.
