Thanks Jack, I was not going to give my Sears garden tractor away last year so I parked it in the barn for when the boys need somthing to ride on. I'm not sure I'll make it up like that one, but I bet they would like it.

Started to replace one of the rear U-joints on the '51 and that bugger was stuck. Started to use a little hammer to tap it, and got it half way out. Went for the BFH, then noticed the yoke where the original "Spicer" was embossed. ::) Put the BFH away and took it to the machine shop today so they could use a press to get it out. I could just see myself busting the yoke and then trying to find another original spicer for a CJ3A... :'(

Well you all are not going to believe this but I washed the Jeep!  I even scrubbed under the hood, got underneath her and cleaned the frame and drivetrain up! Then I but a coat of wax on! I haven't seen the Jeep this clean in at least a year.

It's true... I saw her yesterday! :o (There was actually a shiny black Jeep underneath)

Reinstalled the drive shaft with new universal on 'Ol Yeller last evening. Gave me an excuse to give it a good run around southern Adams County, just to make sure the nuts and bolts were all tight! ;D

OK Jenn, What happened to the statement that "my jeep will never be clean again" I'm proud of ya for getting some of the R C mud of off it. Well I cleaned mine up too and put the BFG's and chrome wheels back on it for awile so that it looks good cruising into Sonic ; 8) ; I can hardly wait to see your newest edition all fixed up  ;D

Put gas in mine and changed the oil and filter. Hit all the fittings with grease. :-\

And I raised the driver seat in the YJ by 1.5". I could not see a thing. :D

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who added a "lift kit" to Jeep seats! Lifted mine 1 1/4" so that I wouldn't have to sit on a phone book anymore.

Also bought a set of used $10 mirror mounts from a Craig's List-er today...and I didn't get killed in the process! ;D My current mounts are chipped-n-corroded. >:(

I didn't actually do it myself and it wasn't today, but I had a 3 inch BDS suspension lift put on a couple weeks ago. I can't wait to get it back out on some trails. Here's the before and after shots:

"cjl8on"  Looks good ;D

In the past week: (working on belly up skid plate)
Trans back in, clutch linkage out, exhaust out, starter back in, modified transfer case shift lever, made lever pin, fixed clutch linkage, x-fer case back in (temporary), clutch linkage back in, a little blood, a small burn, couple of splinters, and a lot of thinking. I've done more to the Jeep than I have in a long time.

Bob:  So how many times have you hit Sonic so far?  That place is a ZOO!

Colli:  Your jeep looks great with the extra lift!  I don't think you'll get hung up now unless you really try.  ;)
