Wire ties!  One of the holes in the Dist. is stripped out so I tightened the one side and, at an angle, looped a wire tie up and across the Dist cap and snugged it up. Just a thought...

Heli-Coiled both holes to make it better than when it was new.
Instaled dizzy, new rotor, new cap, new PCV valve, replaced a hose that needed replaced, once she cools I can do the fuel filter.

re-attached the fender flair with wire ties yesterday. Then tried to straighten the front fender with a hammer. Maybe I will spray some black paint on it today.

Adjusted my front bumpstops from 6 Hockey Pucks to 4 (actually the other day...) ::)

In case anyone doesn't know about this type of bumpstopping coil springs, I did take pictures and will do a write up soon.

Sprayed it down a little inside and out w/ the garden hose.
Pulled drivetrain and replaced the flywheel starter gear, just have to put every thing back together now, but... While it's apart there are other things that need addresed.

waterpump went out on the xj which took out the belt of course. fixed it then the od shift sensor went out on the ole ladys zj but the trans is a factory installed (leftover) wrangler trans. took a while to figure that one out.
build it, beat it, break it, fix it, repeat

Hehe, I saw that photo before.  When I was in shop class, we only had the choice of a toolbox, a gun rack, or a planter!  :P

BTW, Jack, I checked and there is no vacuum disconnect on my front axle.  :)
