Ms. Colli stopped by on Sunday with her big yellow TJ and we did a little this and little that to the "Bee".

We are still working out the logistics on a Hi-lift jack mount.

She now sports a yellow "PA Jeeps" decal on her windshield.

We un-hooked her disco's and ran the "Bee" up on my wood pile. The girl has some flex!!  (easy guys) ;)

She's now ready for the trails fer sure.  ;D

Guess you didn't make it to the Picnic...

Colli has 6 inches of total lift now, she is talking about going to 35's and re-gearing.

She also has a great deal of raw wheeling talent to boot. I can see a bunch of good wheeling in the near future coming from the women in this club.

You gotta love that!

Rick, Colli told me about that, that's some cool stuff right there. Maybe they can put in a Dana 60 for her while they are at it. :o

Rick, you should get PPG or House of Kolor to come...I sure could use a nice paint job!  ;D

Today, I made a vinyl sticker for my rear window.  I'd be surprised if anyone but me knew whose logo this was!:

Got 3 hours of garage time last evening to remove the front suspension on the Willys. I'll throw some pics up when I get a chance. Took off the shocks, U-bolts, spring plates, "U" Shackles, pivot pins, and leaf springs. I discovered that the inner wrap of the passenger side rear leaf spring was broken. Apparently for many years. This is the reason the outer wrap opened up and the spring failed. Glad it happened in front of my house, because it would have been even more ugly at 40 mph on some back road! :o The "U" shackles were a very poor original design, which is obviously why they ended with the early CJ's. Regardless, I'm putting the same style back on to keep it looking original. ;)

My new front springs are being shipped today. American made repro's that are double wrapped. Hope to have them by the weekend!

Made more shackles for my trans mount. There a little smaller than the ones I made yesterday  :P hopeing they will work better. welding is about done, though I may add a gusset for insurance.  Made a drift to help get the bolts started (can use this on the springs too when I have to take them off next time ;)) and started to make a jig to drill the T-case.

Angie,
I knew right off that was something from the "hedgehog" era
Are those things still actively running around...?

IF anyone knows of a business that could/would/might fit within our Annual Jeep Show please feel free to make contact and forard them to me.
I search constantly but can overlook some.
