Is anyone meeting anywhere in York and heading up or is everyone just meeting at the park at 8?

This means you are going to grace us with your trail guide skills, right?

Dropped the XJ off to have my unibody stiffeners welded in. Hopefully I will be able to get it trail ready before the 17th so I can go to rausch.

It's been 3 years since I wheeled so I'm not sure I know the trails but I can get us there and read a trail map.

I think I'm finally going to wheel my Jeep for the first time in like 3 years. Just so happens I have off on a Saturday this month and it happens to be the 17th which seems to be a club ride. Who else is going?

We used to play with some people down in York Haven in the Woods by PPL but we lost contact with them due to work schedules.

I forgot to send my forms in last week and doubt it will make it to the PO box by thursday. Can I hand deliver it to anyone?

I'm always up for some paintball, haven't played in a few years due to work schedule. My wife and I would be interested in playing.

Technical Advice and Questions / Re: Clutches
« on: May 19, 2011, 07:52:38 pm »
I already have 4.56's, I'm asking opinions on which brand clutch for the transmission. It seems Centerforce has some very mixed reviews on Jeep clutches. LUK seems to be who makes the factory clutches. I am probably just going to go with the LUK factory replacement for $150ish for the complete kit and very good reviews. As logn as the world doesn't end by the time I get paid next week that's what I'm going with.

Technical Advice and Questions / Clutches

I'm going to try to get my clutch done before the show but work and my wedding has put the Jeep on the back burner for the past couple months. I wanna know what everyone recomends for a 95 4.0 XJ with 33s currently 35s to come eventually. I still intend to drive it as an occasional DD so I need something multi purpose.

I'm with Jack on buying the book. Great book! I also think Jack should get some percentage of the sales of that book. He's the one who suggested it to me but it def is some good reading.

16th Annual (2011) / Trophy Winners Photo

I was clicking through the Jeep Facebook page and saw this. Thought maybe it would be a cool idea to arrange the trophy winners at the show like this.

Technical Advice and Questions / Re: 95 Cherokee brakes

Back in 07 when I last replaced my pads and rotors on my 95 XJ I got them from Fishel Jeep, not to be confused with Fisher. When I got them the factory parts were cheaper than everyone else around. Although Fishel isn't exactly a Jeep dealer anymore.

I also suggest staying away from Wagner Thermoquiets (Thermosqueels). That's what we install at my work and it's insane how many we warranty for cracks and squeels.

Technical Advice and Questions / Re: Turbo 2.5l YJ
« on: November 06, 2010, 09:53:14 pm »
505 Performance makes a turbo kit for the 2.5. They did a writeup in JP magazine on putting one on their YJ.  November 2009 was the issue, here's their site http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticles/engine/154_0911_505_performance_turbo_system_for_jeep_4_cylinder/index.html

I dunno if you've done gears and lockers yet but I'd probably suggest getting that done before putting a turbo on.
