From President Wayne Fish regarding our December 13, 2020 Club meeting....
As you all know with the Covid crisis, our meetings have been held on the basis of gathering restrictions.  Up to now, we have been blessed with great weather for our outdoor Sunday meetings. (November was a miracle). With this, they have been opened up to all members and guests with no limitations.  Sadly, December's meeting will not be that way.  We will have to finally move indoors.  As has been customary at our December meetings, we award our charitable donations, hold our Election of Officers and then end with our Christmas social. We would normally have up to 45 members and guests.   Unfortunately, moving indoors means there will be limited attendance. It also means that our Social will be canceled.  What I am requesting is that only voting members (and non-voting officers) attend so that we may hold our meeting, vote and still keep within the current limits of our meeting room which is 28. If you are unsure if you are eligible to vote, please contact our esteemed Membership Director, Carol Caddick (membership@pajeeps.org) to check your status. The Officers and Board apologize for this situation, but it is out of our control.  We look forward to 2021 being a better year for all.

Good morning....our december meeting is tomorrow, as long as it is not raining we will be meeting outside due to Gov. Wolfe's new restrictions that take effect today.  Since we will be outside, ALL club members will be welcome.  Bring a chair.  The temperature is supposed to be in the 50s, so dress appropriately.  See you tomorrow for voting.

Our December monthly club meeting will be held on Sunday December 13, 2020.  The meeting starts at Noon in the York Township Park Building located at 33 Oak Street, York, PA. If you type York Area Regional Police into your GPS that will get you to the park, then just drive past down the hill and look for a small building on your left.

Nominations for Club Officers are open at this meeting and Elections will take place at the end of the meeting.

We WILL NOT be having a Christmas Social this year due to CoVid 19 restrictions.

Make sure you check this  page for any updates on the meeting location and new updates.

From Chris Borkowski...
As has been discussed in the last 2 meetings we are going to do a little demonstration/class for those interested in trail guiding or wish to have a little more information on the trails.
So after the next meeting, bring a lunch and while having lunch we shall have a discussion on what are some good practices for trail guides. Some do and don't and answer all your questions. We shall also go over some basic equipment everyone should carry on the trail. Once we have completed that part we will do a wenching and strapping  demonstration. Please post here if this sounds good to anyone so we may get a idea who all is going to attend.
