Installed an aux. fuse block in mine to power up the accesories. This was alot easier than trying to run wires to the factory ones and it looks cleaner after you run the wires to it. 8)

Well ,there are some obstacles :o,ROCKS, that were NOT my friends over the past few trips. They had my stock skid plates pretty bent, up so rather than sitting along the roadways with a leak somewhere I upgraded.

Just installed a Cobra 75 and a wilson ultra flex ant.  I also installed a accessory fuse block from the battery and mounted it under the dash to make it easier to power more accessories ;D

Well I cleaned mine up too and put the BFG's and chrome wheels back on it for awile so that it looks good cruising into Sonic ; 8) ; I can hardly wait to see your newest edition all fixed up  ;D

Technical Advice and Questions / Re: want to put lift on 08 rubicon
« on: November 21, 2008, 11:07:59 pm »
Well I can testify that my 08 did not do well at slick trails with the stock tires on it the first time out at RC. Ted is right though build it up to where you feel comfortable in driving it after you wheeled it a time or two. I went with 35's and upgraded my gears to 4;88 to handle the extra strain on the running gear. The JK comes with pretty good skid plates from the factory but I added on diff. covers and a oil/tranny skid plate.Mt Zion Off  road did my lift kit and gear swap at there shop in Dover. If you have any more ? feel free to PM me .

I would reccomend going to Mt. Zion Off Road center in Dover, they are located on rt.74. I had them install gears and limited slip in my 2008 JK and I am happy with there attention to detail and pricing.Get onto there web site and all the info you should need is right there good luck :)

Technical Advice and Questions / Re: Fenders/flares for a JK
« on: September 13, 2008, 06:25:20 pm »
These flares are designed to fit the factory holes for the most part. You will have to redrill a few small holes in the front wheel well and make two cuts in it to accomodate the new flare attachment mounting location. Overall my son and I had all of them installed in about 3 hours.I did check into the driveshaft problems with the lift and as long as you drive "normally" off and on the roads  I was told they should be OK. Now this is going to be my next upgrade though because I tow my Polaris alot and this does put extra strain on them, just can not afford them now :-\ If you have any more ? feel free to ask.

I put a set of the pocket flares from Bushwacker on my 08 and they work GREAT. I am running 35x12.50 on it and they cover them up. I just had it inspected also and the mechanic was very impressed with the set up I had. ;D
