Technical Advice and Questions / Re: 2007 JK?
« on: October 26, 2010, 09:05:57 pm »
If you do not "reprogram "your jeep it WILL be slugish to say the least. The motor to begin with is lacking horsepower and the programmer will help this alot. You will also be off on the speedometer and odometer a bit,it will also correct this problem. Regearing is part of the complete "package to do the whole job correctly

On my 08 I run 35" BFG AT,s for my road set up and 35" Super Swampers for off road on stock axles. I went with the 4:88 gears and Detroit LSD,s and am very happy with the set up ;D. You will have to buy a programmer like a Hypertech to set everything up so that your computer works properly with the changes. If ya have any ???? give me a shout.

Monthly Meetings / Information / Re: May Meeting
« on: May 12, 2010, 05:17:52 pm »
I think that we should try to do some type of "social event" after the meeting. Sonic or the "new" Macks ice cream shop that just opened up in the old Burger King on rt 74 would be good. See ya all Friday.

That's funny Hillbilly ;D Jenn does get in some "interesting" situations on the "green trails" sometimes. She knows that  she is always going to have someone to help her out in these situations ;) Besides I "owed"  her one from when my jeep was STOCK and it would'nt climb a small muddy hill :-X

I agree Mike I love my SSR Swampers too ;D As far as the handling goes I run mine on "most of the trail rides" and they are mounted on my JK from Dec till April . I never had a problem with them in the snow or rain. You just got to drive the jeep knowing that you do not have a siped all terrain tire on when it is raining.
