OK, thanks!  Now we know!  I like the paint transition from black to red.  Looks like the primer on top of my Camaro right now.  ;)

Sometimes, just driving forward and backward can straighten problems out; other times, it requires money.  8)

You might have popped a rod out of your T-case linkage.

General Discussion / Re: Example of Jeep and social justice!

A customer parked their passenger side too closely to my driver's side where I used to work.  So, I got in my passenger side, crawled over, backed out of the space, drove around, and did the exact same thing to them.  Only I sat there and waited.  Out comes a 250-lb.+ beauty who started squawking about how she's going to get into her car.  I told her, "The same way that you made ME do it--Crawl across"!  Of course, she couldn't, so I made her admit to me what a jerk she was and to promise not to do it to anyone ever again.  So, I backed out and left.  Ha ha!

Look at the book closely as some of the pages are not cut correctly at the top of the pages.

They should have offered you a discount if it had a major flaw!

I worked in printing for years.  Things like that didn't get by me.  ::)

I often see familiar people reading old threads.  I guess once you stay away for a while, it's hard to break the ice and start posting again?  Just say "Hi", someone will reply!

That's why I like watching Anthony Bourdain's shows...He gets the lowdown on little hole in the wall food places, tries stuff that we've never heard of, and makes friends all over the place.

I stayed at a motel in the Carolinas years ago that came with a free breakfast.  The people in front of me made gagging sounds when the cook offered them grits.  I said yes sir, I'd love some grits...and I believe that he gave me my serving plus what they could have gotten!  I felt compelled to eat it all as he was grinning from ear to ear and could see where I was sitting!

As a world traveler, I can tell you that there are untold amounts of discoveries to be made in foreign lands.  The diverse cultures, sights, people, history, events...It's fun to see what else is out there; it's just not the same on TV as it is in real life.

The road trip to Key Largo was always my favorite...you know that you're finally getting somewhere when you hit SC and start seeing palm trees!

I bought a massive generator, and the power came back on just as I was filling it with gas.  Well, I'm ready for the next storm!

I use Tripadvisor.com for people's reviews of hotels, restaurants and attractions all over the world.  Very descriptive, and often photos are included.
