Had the annual "Why won't the XJ start?" issue--this time with the "new" one--and of course, it was microscopic dirt in the CPS!  Uncoupled it, blew a little air into it, reconnected, and it started right up.

I wonder if there is a line item on your insurance company's claim form for squirrel strikes?

A red tailed hawk came at my office window one day.  I put my arm up to shield my face from the impending crash, and he backpedaled his wings and just made a slight thump, leaving one downy chest feather behind stuck on the glass!  He turned and flew away no worse for the wear.

Dad was driving a pickup truck, came upon a roadkill with vultures, one of them started flying right at him, and then it tipped its wings up and sailed right over the cab.  He thought he was going to be eating it.  Birds can really maneuver when they want to!

I have found small catfish in the yard on several occasions, too.  Probably dropped by raptors.

The door seal wasn't the issue.  One of the plastic door hinge covers was loose enough to remove, and water entered the pillar where the hinge wasn't welded completely fast.  I put duct tape around the area before the last rain, and nothing leaked in this time!  I read all kinds of stuff on the internet about possible leak areas, but that was not among them.  It was an easy fix, though!  I'll remove the duct tape and seal it properly with some sealant later.

I recently got my court subpoena for the accident that I was in.  A few days later, the perpetrator's OBITUARY is in the paper!  I guess he chose death over jail...I figured that this would happen.  8^/

Did you know that if you upload a picture of a Veteran to that BBQ place they will have it printed and placed on their wall? You can get ur Dads picture up there.

That's cool.  Are you up on their walls somewhere?

Took off Wobble's left passenger door seal in the hopes of transferring it to the '96.  When it rains, it leaks in the '96 so badly that goldfish could swim on the floor behind the driver's seat! Can't find the point of origin, so hopefully just replacing the entire seal will take care of it. They don't make it easy to remove those door moldings!  I had to take down the saggy headliner in the '96 and if I install new, I guess all those darn moldings will have to come down again.

Got the Camaro running again with a new fuel pump relay (Less than $15) and a new battery (Over $100--My old battery was 10 yrs. old and it only cost $39 or so back then)!  New one has more CCAs, too.

The window stickers made me look at the license plate, then I knew that it was yours.

Walking around the show field, I was under the impression that most owners make six figures or more!

I've been going to as many vehicle shows as I can.  That one was really nice and well-attended!  I had been to a few recently that had less than 25 cars.  There must have been 100+ at this one!

I expected to see the obligatory airbrush art and LED's on the cars, but someone had something completely different:  A blue suede covered box over his battery!  He had a blue suede headliner and just decided to keep going with the theme.

Wished that there had been more Jeeps, but I expected it to be heavy on the muscle cars.  Liked the Hellcats!

Your Challenger was nice, Jack.  Did you win any prizes?

I wanted to see the cat flip the truck into the ditch since he kept bumping into it.

When that 10" subwoofer is cranked up, it'll feel like you're sitting on massage chairs!

I get the magazine 10 times a year, (No Feb. or Dec. issues) and the November issue is out now.  I would think that you would've at least gotten the October issue depending on how long it took him to process your request.

Hope that you get it resolved.

I've been getting help from "Hangman" with removing parts from Death Wobble.

I recently got a '96 XJ Sport, with 31 x 10.5s and a 3" Rusty's lift.  Wondering if my 32 x 11.5s are going to fit under it without issue.  I think that the shocks will need to be replaced soon. Maybe I just ought to upgrade to a 4.5" lift again and be done with it?  Your thoughts?

My Camaro needs work; it's got spark, but fuel starvation.  Won't start unless you shoot ether into the carb when cranking it.  Another project to fix!

Did you get any inspiration from someone else's buildup, or is this all your own concept?  Good luck with it, sounds like it'll be a real attention-getter when it's done.
