General Discussion / Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

I made the Willys Jeep tow the newly restored 1947 Bantam T3-C trailer this evening!  ;D

I still have to get the LineX bedliner sprayed in the bed, but that will have to wait until after the PA Jeeps Show!

My 1947 Bantam Trailer T3-C is on the home stretch. Hope it comes together in time for Saturday!

So, what do all y'all think so far?

(I know... it's not as pretty as Jack's Grand Cherokee...!)  >:D

Well... there just might be a Bantam (Butler, PA) T3C trailer following Old Yeller to York in a couple weeks...

Here's the trailer with some final rust removal and prep for priming. The plan is to have the frame black and the tub... YELLOW!  ;D

Don't crack those lenses.  Found them hard to replace without buying the whole thing.

Yeah... I'll have to keep an eye out for some wise arse cop with a billy club. Excuse me sir... I am writing you a ticket because your tail light is broken...!
 ;)

Installed really nice reproductions of the original Willys Jeep tail lights this morning. Heavy metal housing, thick chrome bezel, and real glass lenses. (Anyone want the ones with plastic lenses that I removed, shoot me an e-mail.)

Fixed the exhaust system (again) on the YJ so I can get back on the trails!  ;D

Cut 3" off the end of the tail pipe so (hopefully) I won't keep mashing it. Also have re-welded the stainless steel muffler inlet and outlet pipes so it will pass PA inspection.

"Old Yeller is going to get some attention under the hood next!

It's about time for a real long thread on the PA Jeeps Forum! ;D

Let everyone know what you did to your Jeep today! ;)

I just noticed the "read" count on this thread that I started in May of 2009. Over 31,600 reads!  :o
I think this is the longest PA Jeeps thread ever. Keep 'em coming folks!

Traded the 2008 Rubicon in on a 4x4 F-150 Lariat super cab. ;D
Now I can tow the CJ3A, CJ8, and YJ without killing the wife's Liberty!  ;)

Don't forget to check the front end alignment, bad tie rod end, bent tie rod, etc. Death wobble is scary (not you Angie)... been there, done that, don't want to go there again!  :o

The Little White YJ got a new TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) today. It started randomly acting like it was starving for gas and stuttering... couldn't figure it out. Glad the 93's could be plugged in for diagnostics!

Great pictures once again Norm!   ;D

I know most of the PA Jeeps Club members were out and about working different assignments. Norm was also out and about everywhere in that heat taking hundreds of shots for PA Jeeps.  ;)

Thanks!
