November 1 is our annual toy run with YCHDOA. We will meet at Sam's club in York at 12. We will be heading out at 12:30 to go to our designated blocking sites. The toy run participants will be leaving by 1. Please post here if you will be able to help out, you can use any vehicle you would like.
2014 TOY RUN
Our 18th Annual Toy Run! This is what it’s all about. $5 donation to ride, with or without a toy. Help us to help the kids and other charities! Register at Sam’s Club parking lot, 2801 E. Market St., York, Pa.
F.A.Q.
1. Should the toys be wrapped ? No, and please, no stuffed animals, also gift cards (gas, pizza, etc.) are always welcome.
2. Do you need help getting the toys there? No, we are in now our 18th year, we have trailers and all the equipment we need.
3. Will we be going up route 83? No, unfortunately, the state will no longer support us with officers on the interstate. We will be taking the same route as last year (through Lancaster county to Hershey) with the support of off duty officers.
4. Is there food available at the start? Yes, there will be a food vendor and Jiffy Johns on site.

I can help out with the beginning of the route, but have to leave early for my daughter's soccer game at 2:30pm.

Is this a rain or sun event? I would hate to drive up there and the event postponed due to rain/ maybe snow. So I will be there if it is not postponed.
