Title: Dynabeads
Post by: Scott Gibson on February 21, 2010, 10:56:13 am
I just mounted a new set of 37" Swampers and was worried I wouldn't get  them to balance.  I remember seeing something on this forum about the Dynabeads so I ordered 5 bags of the larger ones that you just lay inside when mounting.  They are very easy to install, balance better than lead weights, and you don't have to worry about knocking any of the weights off when wheelin. They are awesome and I will use them to balance everything in the future.

shouldve gone with them, i just had my boggers balanced,      the weights look like a silver trim ring there are that many of them.   seen them at kw2j yesterday. if they can balance 37's they should do mine fine.

Where did you buy the dynabeads?

I ordered them online at www.innovativebalancing.com  They have tire charts on there that tells you what you need per tire size.  I put 10oz in each tire like the chart said and they are as smooth as can be.

I'm getting ready to change my 35" BFG's to new rims, which beads should I use, the standard size or the larger off road beads?

Hillbilly,

I should have asked before, who mounted ur tires using the beads?

me, got a manual tire machine. works great and alot cheaper than what they want to mount them, if they even will sometimes.

I used the larger offroad ones because I was afraid the small ones would blow out through the valve when airing down.  And the larger ones you just lay inside the tire when mounting rather than trying to feed them through the valve stem.

Thanks Scott. I guess my next question would be how do the shops react when you ask them to put the beads in for you?

I mounted mine at home with some dish soap and a tire iron but I dont see a problem with a shop doing it.
