the motor died on me and i was woundering if the i-6 out of a 96 grand will go right in to 98 xj i think it should i just dont want to go for it and there be some littel dum thing that srews me all up. thats the luck i have been haveing this year

as long as the motors are both the 91 up style,most of it is the same the only diffs are some sensors , but just swap them to the new motor.
