got gas in it?     seriously any idea if you have spark, when you turn the key on do you hear the hum from the fuel pump, do you have any fuel pressure (theres a little valve stem looking thing on the fuel rail push down on it like you let air out of a tire if it shoots fuel your probably ok), does it sputter at all or just keep cranking.

its a good event, small no hassles. not like ours. its supposed to be decent size this year with bantam only a week away. chasm might know more that's his area of expertise.  I think theres a facebook page for it.

we were there and had a good time. brought the rti ramp with us so travel time was a little longer but that helped because the boy brought his jeep too. no issues on the way other than the tomtom deciding we needed to see downtown delta. but he boys jeep had issues when trying to run the o course, the old carb kept running out of fuel when sitting on the hill waiting and the power steering belt was a little loose. we found out the fuel issue was from a bad fuel pump. and the power steering got a pin hole in the line. but we finally made it home. the boy received second place for trail jeep even though all the issues it had. I told them they were votes because he actually knew how to fix the issues as they happened. thanks to pajeeps for lunch and adams for having us there again.

motors rebuilt and back in. we decided to do it all ourselves  but seems to run fine, worked out a few bugs literally while we had it apart a bee built a nest in the carb.  after our test run we noticed a lot of oil on the ground from the valve cover leaking but it was still the old one no problem. after the carb fix and oil leak we ended up with another oil leak from the new 4 piece oil pan gasket so we removed it and are replacing it with a one piece gasket. we got the tj doors on and a striker plate made so the doors close and latch, along with the tj family style rollbar with shoulder seatbelts for extra safety. we had an issue with the brand new radiator leaking so it was pulled and replaced on sunday. wired up the soundbar and put a mechanical oil pressure gauge. still a few more things that need done but might be ready for adams.

the only thing I take to walmart for mechanical ,is to balance tires at 5 a tire their the cheapest and you really cant screw that up.    besides watching a 110 pound guy toss around a tire the size of him is comical when your on this side.      and the wife works there so I cant say anything bad about them.

the brake light on the dash also refers to the electrical plug on the master cylinder,( if you have one), and also the electrical connecter on the brake proportioning valve. it could be the prop valve is bad or a connection came loose. I unhooked it once replacing a brake line and forgot to hook it back up took me 2 weeks to figure it out.
