if they are both the same style yes but the earlier trans had a dash board shift button on it, where the new ones dont. the switch is for comfort/power and the new trans is set just to power.

The 94 Tranny came out of a 4.0L HO-Motor, the 90 tranny is not HO, but is a 4.0L. I was just wondering if the torque converter and tranny would bolt up without any problems.

Alright the tranny and transfer case out of the 1990 is 21 spline, and the tranny out of the 1994 is 23 spline, would I just be able to get a new intput shaft that is 23 spline, and change the 21 spline over to 23 on the transfer case?
*EDIT*
Alright I did some research and found this,
http://4x4trailhunters.com/tech/read/20
If I get the parts, would someone be willing to change the parts over for me? Im willing to pay, I just need to know what it would cost to get it done.

I was told the 21 spline shaft out of the 1990 Tranny, wont bolt into the 1994 tranny.

No, no, your not getting it, the Input shaft that goes into the back of the transmission is 21 spline, the shaft on the tranny is 23 spline, the transfer case wont bolt up to the back of the tranny.
