yj springs on a cj2a or other flat fender

hi, i keep adding on projects just as i think i've come to a point that i'm "done" w/ a cirtain part of my jeep. i think i'm going to do yj springs on my 1945 cj2a. does anyone have experence doing this? do you have any advice or clues as to what i need to watch out for? ie drive train effects, frame problems,  etc...
