Below is the Show description off PAModernMopar.com website ..."September 27th - Mopars for the Military Car Show, This is OUR clubs annual car show, attendance is requested for the strength of the club, Same place as the cruise in's 2582 Eastern Blvd. York Pa. ~ 1998 and newer only, registration starts at 1pm, show starts at 2pm to 6pm , 60 Trophies, we need club volunteers. club members can show and win trophies, the public and the participants are the voters, $10 fee"
If nothing else there's a really good BBQ place at that location called Never Forgotten BBQ, owned and operated by Veterans! Colleen n I have ate there and the food was great. It's cool just to walk in and see all the pictures on the walls.

Can't make a Wed nite, but will try to head dn to the "Show" on Friday, the 7th, just to gawk (n maybe drool) at all the COOL rides.

Not sure where I'll be parking, it's only the second time I've been to the fairgrounds and it was probably 12 to15 years ago the last time. This Challenger is not new, but it's new to me (in more ways then one, my DD's have been SUVs since the late eighties). We still have 3 Jeeps. Its a 2013 SXT Plus, V6, Auto, Sunroof Unfortunately, it's out of Maryland, so it has 2 holes in the front bumper so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that tag holder. whether I'll end up putting a POW-MIA, or some other kind of military, tag in the front or see if I can get the bumper fixed up. I will say that 6 will get up n GO! and ... it gets around 30+ mpg (when I'm NOT hanging a foot in it ). One cool thing I found, as I was scrolling through the Preferences, is a 0 to 60 feature!!! So far ... my best is a 7.40. Not sure where that stands as times go and if I can keep the wheel spin to a minimum I think I can do better. One plus is that it has a LSD so both tires are pulling. Of course, its a "6", so it doesn't have much torque, but once it gets up to 4K+ rpm's it really starts pulling. Unfortunately it sounds like a "small" Honda motorcycle. Oh Well ... can't have everything ...
