Hello All,
I need to replace the body on my CJ -7. Should I do a steel body or a fiberglass body ? I would like to get a couple suggestions as to which way to go. Thanks in advanced for your feed back.

Hay Mark, lots of folks are going with a YJ tub, From the guys I talked to (two this weekend) it is about as bolt on as you can get.

Hi Sparky09 , you might want to advise us what you have in store for your CJ-7 , Show , trails , everyday driver ,etc .
Trees chew up fiberglass and dent steel , rollbars should be mounted to the frame with fiberglass bodies, fiberglass is easy to repair .
Each have pros & cons . I will also be interested in what this subject brings to light . A big question to ask yourself , Is your auto insurance covering
your %#& if it is wrapped in fiberglass ! ( UP DATED PROPER COVERAGE ! )

Hey Ted, Any particular years better than any other years as far as the YJ tubs go ?
Hey Bob, I will be using the Jeep as a daily driver and occasionally hitting the trails.
Thanks for the information.

Any year YJ tub will do you fine. They're all the same. Use the YJ tub with a CJ grill...SWEET

The year you find for a good price and the less rust the better ;)
As Rick typed, all the same.

Hey Rick, I will probably use a YJ tub with a CJ grill.
