You can do that work in the street or a driveway Jim.....C'mon.....Get Er' Done !
If you only knew what stuff I accomplished in a driveway....With the right tools and the desire you can overcome just about anything.
Think positive...Ask if you need to...Get to work !
Paying someone else to do the work with a limited budget ONLY keeps you off the trail even longer.
I speak from experience and I am sure many others here will agree.
You learn through dirt & sweat..."Google" is an available tool as well.
Each experience offers the opportunity to expand your tool chest. After years, you aquire enough to do many things. Tools are an off-roaders "Bestest Friend"
Out of experience will come the knowlege of being able to "Improvise".....Then you have become "Complete"  ;)
Having a knowledgeable call list on your cell phone also helps...Trust me...

X2 on what Rick said Jim! ;)

All a garage does is keep you from getting wet! Sometimes I prefer to work in the driveway, just because the sunlight makes it lots easier to see, compared to a drop light!

A good repair manual will be your friend too. I have one for my Willys and one for my YJ too. Lots of helpful stuff if you don't have someone over your shoulder to help.
